IMMUNIZATION SERVICES
              Immunization against common childhood diseases has been an integral component of mother and child services in India. The universal immunization programme (UIP) was launched to protect all infants (0-12 months) against six major vaccine preventable diseases namely tuberculosis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, poliomyelitis and measles
Immunization Schedule
In addition to the above schedule Government of Uttaranchal with the help of WHO is pursuing the goal for Polio elimination by providing oral polio vaccine (OPV) under supplementary immunization activity (SIA).

IMMUNIZATION SERVICES
Routine Immunization
ANM at sub centre and APHC/ PHC/CHC/ District Hospital 
1st Wednesday of every month at sub centre and in District Hospitals every Wednesday.
Out reach sessions are held on every Saturday
Sessions sites are Aaganwadi centre / Panchayat Bhawan/ Schools.
In out reach sessions social mobilization by Aaganwadi workers.
Supplementry Immunization
Immunization in addition to Routine Immunization is done to achieve set targets
Activity Under Supplymentary Immunization Activity (SIA)
Pulse Polio rounds in the form of NID/ SNID & Mop Ups
7-8 supplementary rounds every year.
